South Africa were beaten out narrowly by a strong French side in game one, but will be confident of success going forward and coming into this match. New Caledonia were destroyed by USA last time out, losing 9-1 with their backline looking very much out of their depth. It is their debut in the tournament and the lack of experienced showed, as did the quality.
Whilst South Africa are unlikely to triumph by such a huge margin, they should still have more than enough in the tank to win comfortably and will need to do so knowing the potential importance of goal difference moving forward.
