South Africa got off the mark in Group C last time out, but had to settle for a 1-1 draw against Algeria, Thabiso Kutumela equalising after the South Africans fell behind just before the half-hour mark. Guinea meanwhile, went down heavily at the hands of Uganda by three goals to nil, a desperately disappointing outcome for a side who were victorious in the opening round of group matches.
Expect South Africa to smell blood here and look to capitalise on a vulnerable looking Guinean backline.
