Slovenia come into this one on the back of a goalless draw with Scotland in Ljubljana in the UEFA Nations League on Saturday. The Slovenians have now won just one, against a poor Montenegro side, in their last 11 matches.
North Macedonia succumbed to a 3-0 defeat to Switzerland in Skopje the other day and they will be worried they are relegation fodder in a tough League B group. That extended their current winless run of form to nine matches.
These are two sides bang out of form and it won’t be a thriller for the neutral with a low-quality, low-scoring encounter perhaps to be expected here.
