Slovenia vs Belarus prediction

Slovenia bounced back after being comprehensively beaten by Spain in the opening group game. In what proved to be a thrilling encounter against Belgium, Slovenia came out on top by five goals to four, putting themselves in pole position when it comes to knockout qualification. A win over Belarus will see them through due to their head-to-head record over Belgium.

As for Belarus, they cannot reach the knockout stage after losing to both Belgium and Spain. A complete lack of cutting edge going forward sees them without a goal to their name so far, whilst they have conceded six goals. Whilst they should have more luck from an attacking perspective against Slovenia, they are unlikely to outscore them and backing Tomislav Horvat’s side has to be favoured.
