Slovakia vs Moldova prediction
Slovakia succumbed to relegation to League C of the UEFA Nations League and Francesco Calzona has been replaced by returning boss Vladimir Weiss Sr. The Slovakians are unbeaten in three matches since losing to Kosovo in their UEFA play-off semi-final for FIFA World Cup 2026.
Moldova gained promotion from League D to the third-tier of European international football but they have regressed since then and their 1-1 draw with Armenia in June means that they are now winless in their last 15 matches.
Moldova have regressed in the last 18 months and Slovakia will be confident of regaining their spot in League B, beginning with a comfortable victory in Bratislava.
