Singapore vs Maldives prediction

The Singaporean national team have slipped down to 161st in the world, according to FIFA. ‘The Lions’, as they are nicknamed, coached by Tsutomu Ogura, most recently shared a goalless draw with Hong Kong in their most recent outing during the March international break to mean that they are now winless in their last six matches.

They now face a Maldives side that were hammered by the Philippines by four goals to one to kick off the third round of AFC Asian Cup qualification a couple of months ago. The Maldives are now winless in their last three matches, with just one victory in their last eight games, in a run stretching back to June 2023.

Neither of these sides are of a good quality but Singapore would be lined up as firm favourites for this one, especially with their home advantage in Bishan.
