Sigma Olomouc come into this one on the back of a 2-1 defeat at home to Viktoria Plzen, making it back-to-back losses in what has been a disappointing Czech First League campaign for the hosts as they sit firmly in the middle-of-the-table.
They now face a Lausanne Sport side that had been in the top eight for much of the league phase campaign, with just one defeat in six matches, but they eventually finished just a point behind AEK Larnaca in the table.
Lausanne have certainly been the stronger of these two sides thus far and the visitors would have to be viewed as favourites in Czechia on Thursday evening.
