Shrewsbury vs Bromley prediction

Shrewsbury Town were woeful last season and eventually succumbed to being quite a way cut adrift at the bottom-of-the-table in League One. Salop struggles are likely to continue with the squad that has been constructed not necessarily suiting the style of football and profile of player seemingly preferred by new boss Michael Appleton.

They now face a Bromley side that played in their first ever EFL campaign last year and the London-based outfit did well to comfortably finish in the middle-of-the-table. They have lost some key loanees, such as Danny Imray and Cameron Congreve, but are again expected to be more than competitive in League Two this season.

Shrewsbury will have the pressure of winning this, and they should create some problems with home advantage, but Bromley are always a threat, especially from set-pieces, with Michael Cheek and Omar Sowumni.
