Sheriff vs Anderlecht prediction

Having somehow finished second in the Moldovan top-flight last season, despite going through the campaign unbeaten, Sheriff have endured some tough draws in Europe this season, with a defeat to Eredivisie outfit Utrecht in the UEFA Europa League, and now a clash with Anderlecht in the UEFA Europa Conference League.

The first-leg of this third qualifying round tie, which took place at Lotto Park in Brussels, Anderlecht hammered the Moldovans by three goals to nil. Nilson Angulo have Anderlecht a 17th minute lead in that game, before second-half strikes from Denmark international Kasper Dolberg and Belgium international Yari Verschaeren.

Sheriff will believe they can give this second-leg a good go in Transnistria, but Anderlecht would have to remain favourites in a potentially entertaining encounter.

Sheriff vs Anderlecht tip: Anderlecht to win & both teams to score
