Sheffield Wednesday vs Leeds prediction

Sheffield Wednesday have endured a difficult few months but there does appear to be light at the end of the tunnel with the potential takeover of the club. The Owls have shown real fight and pride in their performances, though, as best displayed by fighting back from 2-0 down to earn a 2-2 draw at the Racecourse Ground against Wrexham.

Daniel Farke remains in charge of Leeds United, following their title-winning campaign last season, and the Whites started their season with a 1-0 defeat of Everton at Elland Road via a late Lukas Nmecha penalty. They were, though, then completely outplayed by likely title challengers Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium, losing by five goals to nil.

Leeds will rotate this week but their business this summer means they have a lot depth, which is in stark contrast to a Wednesday side expected to name a very young eleven.

Sheffield Wednesday vs Leeds tip: Leeds to win -1 handicap
