Sheffield Utd vs Mansfield prediction

Sheffield United have been improved since the return of Chris Wilder but the Blades do remain in the bottom-half of the table. That said, their comfortable 3-1 defeat of Leicester City on New Year’s Day does mean that the hosts have now won three of their last four matches in the Championship.

Mansfield Town are always expected to be optimistic and attacking when under the management of Nigel Clough, and that should be even more the case in a game such as this one. The Stags head into this one on the back of brilliant away wins at Barnsley and Bolton Wanderers before a 3-0 hammering of Bradford City.

Mansfield will fancy themselves to score against United this weekend but the hosts are the favourites, especially with their home advantage.
