Sheffield United have been improved since the return of Chris Wilder but the Blades do remain in the bottom-half of the table. That said, their comfortable 3-1 defeat of Leicester City on New Year’s Day does mean that the hosts have now won three of their last four matches in the Championship.
Mansfield Town are always expected to be optimistic and attacking when under the management of Nigel Clough, and that should be even more the case in a game such as this one.
