Sheffield United have been improving, and yet still inconsistent, since the return of Chris Wilder as they welcome Leicester City to South Yorkshire on New Year’s Day.

Sheffield Utd vs Leicester prediction

Sheffield United come into this one on the back of battling back from a 5-3 loss to Wrexham at the Racecourse Ground by defeating Stoke City by two goals to one. The Blades have been much-improved under Chris Wilder, following his return after a dramatically poor start to the season.

They now face a Leicester City side that, coached by Marti Cifuentes, have been relatively underwhelming throughout the campaign as they sit firmly in the middle-of-the-table. The Foxes did manage to oversee Derby County by two goals to one at the King Power Stadium in an east midlands derby the other day.

Leicester, even when they get much-needed victories, remain unconvincing and siding with Sheffield United remains the way to go for this one at Bramall Lane.
