Sheffield United have improved but they are still battling down at the bottom end of the table ahead of the visit of Birmingham City to Bramall Lane this weekend.

Sheffield Utd vs Birmingham prediction

Sheffield United had enjoyed three successive victories before an underwhelming 1-1 draw with struggling Norwich City was followed by a 2-0 loss to West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns last week, courtesy of second-half strikes from attacking duo Aune Heggebo and Karlan Ahearne-Grant.

Big spending Birmingham head to South Yorkshire sitting firmly in the middle-of-the-table, following their record-breaking League One title win last season. The Blues are in indifferent form with a 1-1 draw against Charlton Athletic at St Andrew’s last week making it just one win in their last five matches.

Birmingham will head to Bramall Lane knowing that they are susceptible to being ambushed by teams with more energy and intent, which should be expected in Sheffield.

Sheffield Utd vs Birmingham tip: Double chance – Sheffield United to win or draw
