Shamrock Rovers vs St Joseph’s prediction

Last season, Shamrock Rovers reached the knockout playoff stage of the UEFA Europa Conference League last season, and they will be hoping to do so again. St Joseph’s have already beaten a team from the British and Irish isles this season, with a defeat of Northern Irish Premiership side Cliftonville in the first qualifying round.

In the first-leg of this UEFA Europa Conference League second qualifying round tie, Shamrock Rovers hammered St Joseph’s by four goals to nil in Gibraltar last week. Rory Gaffney opened the scoring in the 13th minute before second-half strikes from Danny Mandroiu, John McGovern and Jack Byrne.

St Joseph’s will want to put up a fight to avoid humiliation in Ireland this week, but Shamrock Rovers are the overwhelming favourites, especially with their home advantage.
