Shabab Al Ahli come into this one on the back of a 1-1 draw with Al Wasl, keeping themselves at the top-of-the-table in the UAE Pro League. They finished their AFC Champions League league phase with a 4-3 loss to Al Ahli last month.

They now face a Tractor side that edged past Gol Gohar by a goal to nil in the Iranian Pro League the other day. That result means that the Iranians remain top-of-the-table domestically, too, and sets this one up quite well.

The first-leg of all of these ties are expected to be close contests and the fact that these two are so strong domestically, as well, would indicate an even contest. However, Tractor lost just once in Group B and will fancy themselves to at least avoid defeat in the UAE.
