Key Stats

  • The Seychelles have yet to win a World Cup qualifying match in 24 previous attempts (D2 L22).
  • Côte d'Ivoire have lost only one of their last 14 World Cup qualifying matches (W10 D3). They are unbeaten in eight matches in the current campaign (W6 D2) without conceding a goal.

Seychelles vs Ivory Coast Prediction

In Group F of CAF qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Seychelles sit rock-bottom with eight defeats from eight thus far. They have scored just twice and conceded a staggering 39 goals in those eight games. Their most recent outing saw them suffer a 5-0 hammering at the hands of Kenya last month.

They now face an Ivory Coast side that won the 2023 CAF Africa Cup of Nations at the start of 2024 and they are now preparing to return to the FIFA World Cup for the first time since 2014. The Ivorians held Gabon to a goalless draw last month to mean they head into these final two games sitting a point clear of the Gabonese.

The Ivorians should qualify anyway but a game against Seychelles is very welcome and a heavy victory for Emerse Fae’s side is to be expected for this weekend.

Seychelles vs Ivory Coast Tip: Ivory Coast to win -2 handicap
