Sevilla preview: Inconsistent Sevilla
Following the appointment of Argentine coach Matias Almeyda in the summer, Sevilla have shown signs of improvement at times this season but they remain firmly ensconced in the middle-of-the-table.
The Andalusians come into this one on the back of three successive defeats across all competitions after they suffered a 2-0 defeat to Real Madrid at the Bernabeu a couple of weeks ago before the mid-season break.
Levante preview: Struggling Levante
Following promotion to La Liga last season, Levante put in some genuinely entertaining performances at the start of this season but the visitors have since had to sack Julian Calero and they are now rock-bottom as they kick off 2026.
Luis Castro, who began the season with Nantes, has now taken over for the second-half of the campaign. They most recently shared a 1-1 draw with Real Sociedad, courtesy of a last-gasp equaliser against the Basque giants.

Levante team news: Eyong at AFCON

Sevilla vs Levante prediction
Levante striker Ivan Romero is a player who is more or less brilliant at everything but he has struggled for efficiency in front of goal, which has been the job of Karl Etta Eyong, who is now away and so the struggle for goals and a cutting edge has been obvious. Sevilla will believe they can put most teams away but, as shown by an underwhelming performance at home to Real Oviedo, that is never certain and so a low-scoring encounter seems a good bet for this one.
Sevilla vs Levante tip: Under 3.5 goals
