Sevilla preview: Struggling Sevilla
Sevilla come into this one on the back of a 4-1 hammering at the hands of Real Mallorca in the Balearic Islands in their most recent outing, last weekend. They were battered out in Palms de Mallorca in a game that was perhaps a flattering result for the Majorcans.
Sevilla have now managed just one victory in their last seven matches across all competitions as they hover just above the bottom three and the relegation places. The pressure is growing on Argentine coach Matias Almeyda.
Girona preview: Still in danger
Girona come into this one on the back of a slender 1-0 defeat to Real Oviedo at Estadio Carlos Tartiere in Asturias in their most recent outing last weekend, due to a 74th minute winner scored by attacking midfielder Ilyas Chaira.
The Catalans had been in excellent form and they had moved towards the middle-of-the-table and clear of a relegation battle but, with the pressure also now growing back on Michel, they could get dragged back towards the drop zone in La Liga.

Sevilla vs Girona prediction
The visitors had appeared destined for the drop at the start of this season but they have been much-improved as the season has gone on. They face a Sevilla side that are in a similar state with their own level of inconsistency. This should be quite a chaotic encounter between two sides that have a fair bit of quality but lack cohesion at both ends of the pitch, so both teams scoring may well be a good bet for this one.
