Sevilla vs Barcelona prediction

After defeats in Matias Almeyda's first two games in charge at the start of the season, Sevilla have steadied the ship since then having collected ten points from the last 15 available. They most recently claimed a late victory against Rayo Vallecano last weekend, with Akor Adams firing home the winner in the 87th minute.

Defending La Liga champions Barcelona have begun their 2025-26 campaign in strong fashion, dropping just two points from their first seven league games as they seek to hold off the challenge of bitter rivals Real Madrid.

The Catalan giants did, however, lose their first game of the season on Wednesday as French giants Paris Saint-Germain claimed a late 1-2 win in their UEFA Champions League clash at Camp Nou.

Hansi Flick was furious with the manner in which his side defended late on against the European champions, and although they are missing Lamine Yamal to injury here, a strong response is expected here.
