Senegal vs Togo Prediction

Former Portsmouth and Birmingham City defensive midfielder Aliou Cisse remains in charge of a Senegal side that have been very strong in the last few years as they now search for a third successive FIFA World Cup qualification with just two victories in their five matches. They were most recently held to a goalless draw by Sudan the other day.

They now face a Togo side that remain winless in their opening five matches of 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification with four points collected and a defeat. The Togolese were most recently held to a 2-2 draw with Mauritania in a game in which they went 1-0 up before then heading 2-1 down in a see-saw affair.

Senegal are trying to evolve their side and have been generally unconvincing of late but they, especially with home advantage, remain the firm favourites for this one to get back on track.
