Senegal vs Mauritania Prediction

Senegal come into this one on the back of an impressive 5-0 demolition of South Sudan in their most recent outing at the Juba Stadium the other day, courtesy of a brace from Ismaila Sarr as well as goals from Sadio Mane, Nicolas Jackson and Cheikh Ndiaye. They remain one of the strongest teams on the continent under the management of former Birmingham City and Portsmouth defensive midfielder Aliou Cisse.

They now face a Mauritania side that have managed just one win in their nine matches thus far. They have been stubborn of late, though, and most recently shared a goalless draw with Sudan.

Mauritania will head to Senegal looking to be defensive but the Senegalese are expected to ease to a win at the Stade Me Abdoulaye Wade.

Senegal vs Mauritania Tip: Senegal to win to nil
