Seattle Sounders bounced back brilliantly from a 3-0 defeat to Toluca by beating Queretaro by the same scoreline. But they must use the momentum gathered from that second game as a tool to go out and get the better of Guadalajara, who have been a big disappointed so far in the Leagues Cup, losing on penalties to LAFC and being beaten by a single goal at the hands of FC Dallas.
Both of Seattle’s first two matches saw plenty of goals and with Guadalajara now eliminated, we could see them free up a little from an attacking point of view, take more risks and look to improve their potency going forward.
