Sebastien Pocognoli is being tasked with majorly improving Scotland’s style of football after reasonable results in the last decade to qualify for three major tournaments but below average performances at those tournaments.
Switzerland were surprisingly relegated from League A of the UEFA Nations League in the 2024-25 campaign and the Swiss began their League B stint with a comfortable and impressive 3-0 defeat of North Macedonia in Skopje on Saturday.
Switzerland will expect to romp to promotion this autumn and they should come out on top in Glasgow, albeit Scotland will likely show a bit more proactivity and openness.
