Saudi Arabia vs New Zealand prediction

Whilst Saudi Arabia may have been beaten in their first game of the group stage, it was only a penalty which separated them from Austria in a narrow 1-0 loss. New Zealand meanwhile, were no match for Mali as they fell to a comprehensive 3-0 defeat. They looked worryingly subpar in that one and must improve quickly.

Although Saudi Arabia lost their first match, they did at least look good defensively, which they’ll need to be here. You’d back them to score at least once against this New Zealand backline and therefore, the smart play would be backing Saudi Arabia to pick up the all-important three points.
