Key Stats

  • São Tomé and Príncipe have lost their last 11 World Cup qualifying matches, since a 1-0 victory against Ethiopia in October 2015.
  • Tunisia have lost only one of their last 24 World Cup qualifying matches (W18 D5). They are unbeaten in 11 (W9 D2).
  • Tunisia have kept 15 clean sheets in their last 17 World Cup qualifying matches. They have not conceded a goal in their last ten qualifying games.

Sao Tome e Principe vs Tunisia Prediction

Sao Tome e Principe come into this one on the back of a 3-0 hammering at the hands of Namibia at the Francistown Stadium in the September international break. They have suffered eight defeats from eight and conceding 20 goals in the process in Group H of CAF qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Tunisia, under the management of Sami Trabelsi, defeated Equatorial Guinea by a goal to nil last month to quality for the 48-team tournament in North America last summer. That was their fourth successive victory and they have now collected 22 points from their eight qualifiers thus far.

Tunisia are hardly the most thrilling and dominant in attack, as they face a Sao Tome e Principe side that can be stubborn, but they should win with ease in Rades.

Sao Tome e Principe vs Tunisia Tip: Tunisia to win to nil
