Santa Clara vs Varazdin prediction

In the first-leg of this UEFA Europa Conference League second qualifying round tie at Stadion Andelko Herjavec in Varazdin in Croatia last week, Santa Clara managed to defeat the Croats by two goals to one. Ivan Mamut and Marko Dabro scored the goals for Varazdin in that game, with Adriano having equalised for Santa Clara mid-way through the second-half.

Santa Clara punched well above their weight to qualify for Europe in Portugal last season, and there will be a belief that they can use their unusually distant home advantage to overturn any deficits in this competition.

Portuguese sides are often underwhelming in Europe outside of the big three, but Santa Clara must surely be confident of fighting their way back into this one.

Santa Clara vs Varazdin tip: Double chance – Santa Clara to win or draw
