Santa Clara vs Larne prediction

In their first ever European campaign, coming in from the middle of the Atlantic Ocean in the Azores, Santa Clara came from behind to defeat Varazdin by three goals to two on aggregate in the second qualifying round of this competition.

They take on a Larne side that have progressed into this stage with a view to emulating what they did last season, as the Northern Irish side surprisingly reached the league phase of the UEFA Europa Conference League.

The first-leg was fairly uncompetitive, though, as Santa Clara defeated Larne by three goals to nil with a strike from Wendel and then a brace from Gabriel Silva, all in the first-half.

Larne will be seeking to ensure they can maintain their pride and avoid humiliation in the Azores this week, but Santa Clara should cruise to a comfortable aggregate victory.

Santa Clara vs Larne tip: Santa Clara to win to nil
