Salford vs Accrington prediction

Salford City, coached by Karl Robinson, most recently suffered a penalty shootout defeat to Rotherham United in the first round of the EFL Cup in midweek. Last weekend, the Ammies defeated Notts County by two goals to one at Meadow Lane after they suffered a surprise 3-1 loss at home to Crewe Alexandra on the opening day.

They now face an Accrington Stanley side that managed to defeat Oldham Athletic in the preliminary round of the EFL Cup before a first round victory against Peterborough United the other day. They have struggled in the league, though, with the Lancastrians managing to collect just a solitary point from their opening two matches.

Salford are expected to go well this year and will hope their opening day defeat has been put behind them, and they are favourites for this one with their home advantage.
