Key stats

  • Excluding penalty shoot-outs, Anguilla are without a win in their previous 18 World Cup qualifying matches (D3 L15).

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines vs Anguilla prediction

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines come into this one on the back of a 1-1 draw with the British Virgin Islands in an international friendly last week. They have, quite remarkably, now suffered just five defeats in their last 19 defeats, despite suffering successive losses to begin their Group F campaign in North American qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

They now take on an Anguilla side that are currently ranked 209th in the world and are perhaps the weakest side in international football. They have started their qualifying campaign for the tournament that will be hosted in North America with two defeats from two, failing to score and conceding 12 goals in those two matches.

Whilst Saint Vincent and the Grenadines aren’t the strongest of sides, they are firm favourites for this one because there is a bit of a gulf between themselves and Anguilla.
