Sabah vs Petrocub prediction

In the first-leg of this UEFA Europa Conference League second qualifying round tie, Sabah defeated Petrocub Hincesti by two goals to nil at the Zimbru Stadium in Moldova last week. In what was generally a tight affair, Sabah eventually secured their two-goal advantage with late strikes scored by Pavol Safranko in the 82nd minute and then by Kaheem Parris in second-half stoppage-time.

Sabah suffered a dramatic 6-5 aggregate loss to Celje in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League earlier this month, whilst Petrocub have begun their 2025/26 Moldovan National Division campaign without a loss in their opening five matches.

Petrocub will believe they can take the game to Sabah in Azerbaijan, but the Azeri Premier League outfit have to remain as firm favourites for this one in the second-leg.
