THE PREDICTION
After a poor start to the new Top 14 season Stade Francais have won four of their last six matches but they will be disappointed to come away empty-handed from an 18-9 loss at Pau last Saturday. Their home form was largely imperious last season and after losing to Paris rivals Racing on the opening day of the new campaign they have won each of their last three here against in-form Castres as well as Clermont and Lyon. However, they look like being tested here against an ever-improving Montpellier side who made it back-to-back wins in the Top 14 with a 30-6 romp at home to Lyon. A 21-32 away win at Racing 92 the week before suggests they can travel back to Paris with confidence of another smash and grab here. Montpellier have been incredibly close in losses this season, with four points at Bordeaux their biggest margin of defeat so far, so taking them to win with a +4 head-start looks a shrewd move here.
