THE PREDICTION
This is a crunch game for both the Canberra Raiders and the Canterbury Bulldogs if either team harbour hopes of pushing for a top eight spot this season. Both teams have won just two of their eight matches so far and but they will take confidence from improved performances last week. The Bulldogs grabbed a win over the Roosters while the Raiders were robbed by a poor refereeing decision in a one-point loss to the Warriors. It is the Raiders who have had the edge in recent meetings between the two teams having won the last five but they make some pretty radical changes here. Veteran captain Jarrod Croker comes in for his first game of the year and it will be interesting to see if he can inspire them to victory. Home advantage, recent meetings and analysis of their games this season sees us lean towards the Raiders grabbing the vital win here.
