Romania vs Moldova prediction

The Romanians performed well in UEFA EURO 2024 qualification and last year’s UEFA Nations League, but they now come into this one on the back of a very underwhelming start to UEFA qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, having shared a 2-2 draw with Cyprus in Nicosia during the September international break.

They now face a Moldova side that, again, did well in UEFA EURO 2024 qualifying before missing out very narrowly after defeating Poland by three goals to two in Chisinau. The Moldovans were then utterly annihilated last month as Norway thrashed them by eleven goals to one in Oslo.

Moldova have tried to develop and evolve their style of football but they have remained majorly declined, and so Romania will have to win with their home advantage.

Romania vs Moldova tip: Romania to win
