Roma vs Valerenga prediction

It's been a tough start to the league phase for Roma, who have suffered defeats by four-goal margins to Spanish pair Real Madrid (6-2) and Barcelona (0-4), so they will be desperate to get some points on the board in this home fixture against Norwegian opposition.

The Italian side are coming off the back a 2-5 defeat to Fiorentina in Serie A Femmenile on Friday, although they remain top of their domestic standings after five games.

Valerenga are also without a point at this stage, but they came agonisingly close to one at home against Wolfsburg last time out, with the German side scoring a 98th-minute penalty to win 1-2.

The Norwegian outfit have won all three Toppserien games since that defeat, but with just one game remaining, they are unable to catch champions Brann at the top of the table.

Valerenga have only ever earned one point in either the group stage or league phase of the UEFA Women's Champions League, and although they have competed well so far this season, home advantage should get Roma over the line here.

Roma vs Valerenga tip: Roma to win
