Roma preview: Ranieri’s Romans
Having come out of retirement during the November international break to become Roma’s third permanent manager of the campaign, Claudio Ranieri’s Giallorossi begin the final two weeks of the season just a point outside of the top four.
It had been a woeful start for the Romans before a five-month unbeaten run of form in Serie A, which ended last weekend as they suffered a 2-1 defeat to Atalanta at the Gewiss Stadium in Bergamo last week.
AC Milan preview: A poor season
AC Milan had the chance to end their season with two trophies, having won the Supercoppa Italiana in Sergio Conceicao’s first two matches back in January, but they were beaten 1-0 by Bologna in the final of the Coppa Italia in midweek at the Stadio Olimpico.
The Rossoneri have endured a fairly miserable campaign and Conceicao is expected to depart San Siro at the end of the season. However, with two games of the season to go, they sit four points adrift of the top four and the UEFA Champions League qualification spots.

Roma vs AC Milan prediction
Roma, in typical Claudio Ranieri style, have been magnificent in terms of their ability to avoid defeat in the last few months with the Giallorossi becoming extremely difficult to play and score against with their 2-1 loss at Atalanta easily put down as an anomaly. AC Milan, on the other hand, have been fortunate to have strung some results together in Serie A and their cup exploits have hardly disguised a poor campaign. Siding with the Romans is to be expected for this one in the capital city.
