In the first-leg of this UEFA Europa Conference League knockout playoff round tie in Cyprus last week, Rijeka managed to edge past Omonia by a goal to nil with an 86th minute winner scored by former AFC Bournemouth attacker Daniel Adu Adjei.

Rijeka have been underwhelming in Croatia, though, with a 1-0 loss to Hajduk Split last week made it just one victory in their last five matches. Omonia, on the other hand, sit at the top-of-the-table in the Cypriot First Division.

It could well be that the visitors are focusing on replicating Pafos and getting into the UEFA Champions League for next season and so Rijeka will be expected to progress here.
