Real Betis vs Rayo Vallecano prediction

Betis begin this weekend's round of fixtures sitting just four points behind fourth place Atletico Madrid. Los Rojiblancos made it three La Liga victories in a row with a 2-1 victory over Real Mallorca in the Balearic Islands last weekend.

They now face a Rayo Vallecano side that have major off-field issues due to their president but still fight on in Europe. Inigo Perez' side begin the match day just outside of the bottom three and the relegation places in Spain's top-flight.

A small squad and general neglect has left Rayo in an awkward position and Betis should capitalise on that one with a victory at La Cartuja.
