Real Betis preview: Manuel Pellegrini’s Betis
Manuel Pellegrini’s Real Betis begin this weekend’s round of fixtures sitting tucked inside the top six in La Liga, with Los Verdiblancos’ form having dipped of late as they drift away from the top four in Spain.
The Andalusians did, though, manage to defeat lower league Real Murcia by two goals to nil the other day in the round of 32 of the Copa del Rey. They have won just one of their last five matches in La Liga.
Getafe preview: Jose Bordalas’ Getafe
Jose Bordalas’ Getafe, in what is his second stint in charge of the Madrid-based outfit, begin the match day having once again overperformed this season, sitting tucked inside the top-half of the table with their belligerent style of football.
The visitors come into this one on the back of a 3-1 defeat to second-tier side Burgos in the cup in midweek. That comes after a poor run of form in La Liga, whereby they have managed just one win, a 1-0 victory at home to Elche, in their last five matches.

Real Betis vs Getafe prediction
La Cartuja has produced surprisingly brilliant atmospheres this season and the same will be expected this weekend, albeit without much help from a likely low travelling number. Betis will get themselves on the front foot and they could also do with finding a result here this weekend, too. Getafe will try and make things slower and disjointed but, away from home and given their form, Betis would have to be viewed as firm favourites.
