Rangers vs Union SG Prediction
Rangers have been really poor in the Scottish Premiership with Celtic running away with the title yet again as the Bears must now focus on the league phase of the UEFA Europa League.
Former Monaco boss Philippe Clement has reportedly been on the verge of the sack for quite some time but they have improved in the last month or so. They begin the final round of the league phase sitting three points behind FCSB after suffering a 2-1 defeat to Manchester United at Old Trafford last week due to Bruno Fernandes’ second-half stoppage-time winner.
Royale Union Saint-Gilloise are three points clear of 25th but three points adrift of eighth ahead of the final match day so the pressure is very much off for the Belgians, who are actually level on points with Rangers. They come into this one on the back of a 4-0 hammering of Beerschot at the weekend to mean they have now suffered just one defeat in their last 16 matches.
Union SG have had success in the UEFA Champions League at Ibrox in recent seasons and there is motivation to finish as high as possible, even if they cannot make the top eight, and given their good form, a double chance bet in favour of the away team is the way to go here.
Rangers vs Union SG Tip: Double chance – Union SG to win or draw
