Despite dominating large periods of the first-leg, Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce succumbed to a 1-3 loss at the hands of Rangers and such a lack of potency cannot be repeated in Glasgow.

Rangers vs Fenerbahce Prediction

Fenerbahce registered 23 shots against Rangers in Turkey, including seven on target following 65% of possession. Yet they ended up on the losing side, Jose Mourinho’s men going down by three goals to one. That lack of cutting edge combined with the Scottish side’s potency ultimately cost Fenerbahce, who now have it all to do in Scotland.

If Fenerbahce can replicate what we saw from them in the first leg, but be more clinical, then there’s no reason to think that they can’t turn this round of 16 tie around. However, to do so in the cauldron of Ibrox won’t be easy. But Rangers have had their struggles at home this season and with the nous of Mourinho guiding them, backing Fenerbahce to either draw or win the leg should be seriously considered.

Rangers vs Fenerbahce Tip: Double chance - draw/Fenerbahce
