Racing Santander preview: Fun Racing
Following their promotion back to La Liga as second-tier champions last season, Racing Santander’s seven matches have consisted of 32 goals with only four teams having scored more than them but having conceded four more than anyone else.
The Cantabrians had started brightly but headed into the prolonged international break on the back of conceding 12 goals in two matches, losing 7-2 to Barcelona at Camp Nou before a 5-0 defeat at Balaidos against Celta Vigo.
Valencia preview: Struggling Valencia
Carlos Corberan was sacked in the first section of the season with off-field issues again contributing to Valencia being involved in a relegation battle in La Liga, with Los Che winning just one of their seven games thus far.
Their one win came after the departure of Carlos Corberan but they then headed into the break on the back of a 3-2 defeat to Real Sociedad at Mestalla with former Mexico boss Javier Aguirre having now been appointed over the international break.

Racing Santander vs Valencia prediction
Javier Aguirre has led plenty of teams to survival in La Liga with his defensive and combative style of football, which is expected again to be at the forefront of Valencia’s plans this season. They head to an entertaining Racing side that could themselves do with battening down the hatches after their woeful week before the break and so a low-scoring contest seems a decent bet for this one in Northern Spain.
Racing Santander vs Valencia tip: Under 2.5 goals
