Racing Club vs Velez Sarsfield prediction

In the first-leg of this CONMEBOL Copa Libertadores quarter-final tie, Racing Club managed to earn themselves a slender advantage as they won by a goal to nil at Estadio Jose Amalfitani. Adrian Martinez scored the only goal of the game for Racing in the second-half, after Lisandro Magallan had been sent off for Velez in the first-half.

Since then first-leg, Racing have eased to a comfortable 2-0 victory over Huracan in the Argentine Primera Division, making three successive victories for the hosts. Velez Sarsfield, on the other hand, managed to see off San Martin by two goals to one domestically at Estadio Ingeniero Hilario Sanchez.

Velez will believe that they do have a lot of quality to be able to get themselves back into the tie but, with home advantage, Racing will be expected to see them off this week.

Racing Club vs Velez Sarsfield tip: Racing to win
