  • IR Iran have won seven of the last eight international matches between these teams (L1).

Qatar vs Iran Prediction

Under the management of former Espanyol boss Luis Garcia, Qatar sit tucked inside the top four and are clinging on to that place to move into the fourth round of AFC qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The Qataris most recently suffered a surprise 3-1 defeat to the Kyrgyz Republic away from home at the Spartak Stadium in March.

Iran have already assured their spot at the expanded 48-team 2026 FIFA World Cup, with a dominant attack that consists of the likes of Mehdi Taremi and Sardar Azmoun, whilst also having a tight defence. Iran remain tight and difficult to beat but they do have little to play for in this one.

Given the fact they have little to play for and that Qatar are looking to bounce back, siding with the hosts, with that home advantage in Doha, looks the way to go for this surprise value bet.

Qatar vs Iran Tip: Double chance – Qatar to win or draw
