Qarabag vs Shelbourne prediction

In the first-leg of this clash at Tolka Park in Dublin last week, Qarabag ran out as comfortable 3-0 winners against 2024 League of Ireland champions Shelbourne. Leandro Andrade gave the Azeris an early lead in the 12th minute before late goals from substitute Oleksiy Kashchuk and then from striker Neriman Axundadze.

Qarabag have been the dominant force in Azeri football for some time now and they will be expecting to reach the league phase of a UEFA competition this season. Shelbourne’s summer has been disrupted by the surprise departure of Damien Duff, leaving Joey O’Brien in charge on an interim basis.

Shelbourne showed fight to defeat Linfield in the first qualifying round but it is now about avoiding humiliation, with Qarabag expected to win this one quite comfortably.

Qarabag vs Shelbourne tip: Qarabag to win -1 handicap
