Qarabag vs FCSB Prediction

Qarabag are four points adrift of the top 24 and the knockout playoff spots as the Azeri champions now prepare to take on Romanian side FCSB that are overperforming.

Qarabag come into this one on the back of an entertaining 3-2 defeat of Shamakhi in the Azeri Premier League at the weekend. They sit at the top-of-the-table in Azerbaijan with 50 goals scored in their 19 games so far this season. Their most recent outing in this competition saw them defeated 1-0 by Elfsborg in Sweden last month.

The artist formerly known as Steaua Bucharest, FCSB, have managed three victories with two draws in their six UEFA Europa League matches thus far. The Romanians are second in the Romanian SuperLiga and have proven themselves difficult to beat throughout the campaign, most recently sharing a goalless draw with Hoffenheim last month in this competition.

This is a clash of styles with Qarabag likely to try and take the game to FCSB with an attacking style of football that has been their blueprint across all competitions but the control of pragmatism of the visitors should earn themselves a win here.

Qarabag vs FCSB Tip: FCSB to win & under 3.5 goals
