Punjab vs East Bengal Prediction

Since beating Bengaluru by three goals to two in a thrilling encounter, Punjab have since lost two and drawn one of their following three games, shipping six goals in the process. Such defensive instability will need to be cut out here and there’s little excuse not to see improvement against an East Bengal offence which has struggled all season long.

Of the 13 clubs competing in the ISL, only two clubs have scored fewer goals than East Bengal, those being the current bottom two. However, they are coming off the back of a morale boosting 1-3 triumph over Mohammedan, which may be a catalyst towards a change in fortunes.

It’s that result that puts more of a question mark on the potential outcome of this one. Punjab’s last three games have all come away from home, but their most recent home fixture saw them win. It’s also rare that they don’t find the net, which would make it difficult for an East Bengal side who have had their issues attacking-wise. When weighing all this up, explore utilising the double chance market on Punjab to gain at least a point, if not all three.

Punjab vs East Bengal Tip: Double chance - Punjab/draw
