Portugal vs Belgium prediction

Portugal cruised through Group D with a 100% record, beating Italy, Hungary and Poland. The latter gave the Portuguese a fright, but they came through with a 3-2 win to secure their nine points and a perfect record. They come into the quarter-finals averaging just under five goals a game with only Spain having scored more than their 14 goals.

Despite losing two of their three group games, Belgium still managed to sneak through to the quarter-finals. They conceded 15 goals over the course of their three matches, by far the most of all eight teams in the last eight and that does not bode well against a team of Portugal’s attacking quality. The likelihood is that Portugal will be afforded a lot of success in front of goal and the reality is they are a much stronger all-round team. Back them to defeat Belgium by a significant margin.

Portugal vs Belgium tip: Portugal to win with -3.5 handicap
