Portugal vs Belgium prediction

Two European sides lock horns here with both having won twice over the course of the group stage. Portugal racked up 13 goals compared to Belgium’s 11, whilst both conceded three. Belgium greatly impressed from the start, pushing Argentina to the brink and only losing 3-2. Portugal’s only defeat came in the final round of group games against Japan.

When considering the free-scoring nature of both these two teams, it would be no surprise if we were to see a high-scoring encounter despite the high stakes involved. They have each been strong going forward, averaging over four goals scored per game across the tournament so far and it’s worth backing over 2.5 goals between them here.

Portugal vs Belgium tip: Over 2.5 goals
