Portsmouth vs Norwich prediction

Last weekend, Portsmouth began their campaign with an impressive performance as they defeated Oxford United by a goal to nil at the Kassam Stadium thanks to a winning goal scored by Adrian Segecic. Since then, Pompey have suffered a surprise loss to League One side Reading at Fratton Park in the first round of the EFL Cup.

In contrast, Norwich City managed to pull off a 2-1 victory over Watford at Vicarage Road in midweek. The Canaries, after a busy summer, began their season disappointingly, though, as they suffered a 2-1 loss at home to Millwall on the opening day. Norwich may well be set for a couple of months of teething issues at the start of this season.

When Liam Manning’s football isn’t perfect, it can be quite dull and tedious, and Pompey will be content with that at home, and backing them to begin with back-to-back victories would seem a reasonable bet.
