Portsmouth vs Ipswich Town prediction

Whilst Ipswich Town sit fourth-place in the Championship, they’ve lost significant ground on the top two after having dropped points in each of their last two games, losing to Sheffield United before drawing 1-1 with Preston North End. Only a late penalty rescued them at the weekend from consecutive defeats and they’ll be expected to show a lot more venom offensively here at Fratton Park.

But this is a Portsmouth side full of confidence and momentum following a 3-0 thumping of West Brom. They won’t be afraid to take the game to Ipswich from an attacking point of view. John Mousinho’s side have found the net at least once in their last four matches, which yielded two wins and two draws. With that in mind, backing both teams to score may prove to be the shrewd play.

Portsmouth vs Ipswich Town tip: Both teams to score
